The following is the list of committes and there function
| Finance Committee
Mandate:
To oversee the financial affairs of the estate through monitoring the relevant tasks of the property manager, establishing accounting controls, setting budgets & monitoring receipts & payments
Membership :
- All block Treasurers
-selected execs with the necessary experience
Ideal size & structure:
10 members including a chairman and an assistant
Authority & reporting:
A quorum will be formed by 6 members for purposes of voting & decision making. The committee will report to the executive council on a monthly basis or as required on all projects Legal Committee
Current Members:
Hortense Mitchell (Head - Finance Committee)
Neville Reid, Michelle Cowan, Damion Cameron, Michael Brown, Rodney Davis, Raymond Ragbeir, Dwight Austin, Natica Dell, Levaughn Flynn, Duane Wellington.

Legal Committee
Mandate:
To ensure that the many & varied activities of the CECA or its agents are in accordance with regulations of the estate & the laws of the land
by advising the executive, overseeing all contractual agreements & court proceedings
Membership :
(1) At least 2 execs, preferably with experience in the legal field
(2) Non elected residents with relevant experience
Ideal size & structure:
5 members including a chairman and an assistant
Authority & reporting:
A quorum will be formed by 3 members for purposes of voting & decision making. The committee will report to the executive council on a monthly basis or as required on all projects

Social & Welfare Committee
Mandate:
To build camaraderie & strong community spirit on the estate by way of social & sporting activities aimed at promoting greater involvement, interaction & volunteerism in our residents
Membership :
At least 1 exec member plus a member of each block
Ideal size & structure:
9 members including a chairman and an assistant
Authority & reporting:
A quorum will be formed by 5 members for purpses of voting & decision making. The committee will report to the executive council on a monthly basis or as required on all projects |
